Job Summary:
Responsible for all sales results covering the assigned territory. Sales results will target revenue generation, profit, and incremental growth. Sales implementation will support the Business Unit with implementation of strategic plans and objectives. Major goal will be incremental growth of sales of Mikropul’s line of standard dust collectors.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Manage sales of proprietary industrial dust collection systems, within the assigned territory at targeted profit margins that meet the customer’s requirements.
- Prepare and submit technical/commercial proposals for Mikropul’s line of dust collector products.
- Will work in concert with the Applications Managers and Technical Support to ensure that MikroPul proprietary systems are properly applied, specified, and installed.
- Responsible for effective implementation of project specific sales strategy, within the US.
- Will participate in product presentations to conferences, trade shows, exhibitions, and high level customers
. - Negotiate contracts with customers, representatives, and appropriate entities to maximize MikroPul benefits, limit liabilities, and fully support Business Unit objectives. Resolve all conflicts in a timely, professional and ethical manner.
- Provides sound market input to Business Unit Management to enable and facilitate new product development, produce enhancement, and strategic entry into new and emerging markets. Maintain an understanding of the competition and how it impacts MikroPul’s business opportunities.
- Productively interface with the operations and engineering side of the business and proactively support common objectives.
- Travel and support sales activities within the appropriate assigned territory as required to meet business objectives
- Provide sales visibility forecasts as directed
- Participate in yearly budget planning and manage results throughout the fiscal year.
- Provide industry reports on upcoming trends in all parts chemical, petrochemical, mining, and minerals industries.
- Assist Field Services as required to aid in troubleshooting equipment
- Provide customer support to after market department for increasing parts sales throughout territory.
Qualifications:
Your Experience & Education
- Bachelor of Science in an established Engineering Discipline (i.e., Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial). Persons with a BS level degree or above in non-related fields to engineering will be considered based on their demonstrated knowledge of process industry and prior experience with capital goods sales.
- Minimum of 2-3 year’s sales/sales management experience in the pollution control industry selling air pollution control equipment.
- Involvement in Professional Associations

- Inventory and parts knowledge
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Proficiency with CRM, ERP and various portal software
