Job Summary:
Nederman manufacturing and logistics (NML) is looking for a well-organized, detailed oriented and diligent material handler to join our internal logistics team with focus on receiving. We are continuously receiving deliveries from local suppliers (LTL) as well as our over-seas sister factories (sea containers) that require off-loading, staging, receiving and put away to inventory where the parts are made available for our operation.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Forklift operation for off-loading and put-away. Reach and sit-down.
- Navigate and use internal ERP system (IFS) through hand-held device for receiving and inventory transactions.
- Break down mixed parts deliveries and re-package into relevant entities for put away
- Identify and resolve problems in receiving such as mismatching documentation (quantity, part numbers)
Qualifications
Your Experience & Education
- At least three years of experience from ware house related roles.
- Strong skill and experience in operating forklifts, preferable both reach and sit-down.
- Experience from working in ERP system, preferrable with hand-held scanning devices
Your Skills & Traits:
- Read, write, and speak English fluently
- Detailed oriented and diligent
- Using hand-held scanners and work in ERP system
- Basic computer skills
- Good attendance and punctual start time required
- Solid communication skills as role interacts with many functions
- Willingness to be a team player
Physical Demands:
- 10 hour shifts (Mon-Thu)
- Breaking down mixed parts pallets, some parts can weigh up to 30lbs
- Extensive forklift operation
