Gasmet is part of the Nederman Group and stands under the Monitoring & Control Technology division with Neo Monitors and Auburn FilterSense.

The Role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Director with a proven track record in sales and service to generate growth and be responsible for the overall management of Gasmet Americas. We seek a person with strong leadership capabilities and a collaborative approach to lead our team in delivering outstanding results. The Sales Director will report to the Sales & Service Director of Gasmet Group based in Finland.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Leading a talented remote team of currently 8 professionals (5 persons in Sales, 2 in Service, 1 in Administration) located in USA and Canada.
  • Building and executing a sales growth plan for Americas, including direct and indirect sales, both product and service sales.
  • Ensuring a deep experience and knowledge in sales and service functions to drive business growth and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Preparing budget and forecast for your own territory. Budgeting and monthly reporting of performance. Monthly contribution in the AMER region financial review as part of the listed company process, together with a local Financial Manager.
  • Align with the strategic objectives and guidance from the global parent company, ensuring clear communication and execution of company-wide goals.
  • Playing active sales role in selected projects and customer segments, building lasting relationships.
  • Deep understanding of P&L
  • Extensive travelling in North America and occasionally in Mexico/Central America/South America and Europa (mainly in Finland and Sweden)
  • Continuous high level self-development and learning of markets and technologies in order to implement sufficient sales plans including people/organization and skills planning.
  • Following global Gasmet processes, maintaining local processes and using existing tools (e.g. CRM, ERP, AI)
  • All other duties as assigned

 Our ideal Sales Director has a growth mindset, leads by example, manages to create a positive and forward-looking culture, and contributes building a "one Gasmet" company culture within the Americas team in close cooperation with Gasmet HQ.

In this role, you will closely work with the Group’s Sales & Service Director as well as occasionally with other regional directors of Gasmet. You are also a part of Gasmet Group’s Global Leadership Team.
