Sustainability Controller & Compliance Officer – Nederman, Helsingborg

Helsingborg Group Finance Apply before: 2026-01-20

Apply strong controlling skills in a sustainability context, and grow with the role.

At Nederman, we believe clean air is a human right. Sustainability is embedded in how we operate, make decisions and create long-term value. We are now looking for a Sustainability Controller and Compliance Officer with a solid controlling background who is ready to take ownership of sustainability reporting in an international group environment.

The role suits a Business Controller who is confident in data, analysis and reporting, and who wants to apply these skills in a sustainability context that is established, regulated and evolving.

Your role

You will hold a central role in coordinating, consolidating and assuring sustainability data and reporting across the Nederman Group. The role combines regulatory compliance, structured reporting and continuous development, with clear responsibility for data quality and internal controls. You will work closely with group companies, senior management and auditors, and play an active role in developing and strengthening sustainability reporting processes over time.

You will report to the Senior Group Business Controller & Sustainability Reporting Manager.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare, update and coordinate the Nederman Group CSRD report from a compliance perspective
  • Collect, consolidate and analyse sustainability data and KPIs for external reporting and internal management reporting
  • Drive and maintain sustainability processes such as double materiality assessment, CSDDD and SBTi
  • Support group companies in ensuring compliance with CBAM reporting requirements
  • Coordinate and provide documentation to group auditors related to sustainability reporting
  • Drive internal control processes to ensure accuracy, consistency and reliability of sustainability KPIs
  • Monitor and interpret changes in sustainability-related regulations and assess their impact on the Nederman Group
  • Manage the sustainability KPI budget reporting process, including consolidation and follow-up

Who we are looking for

This role is intended for a Business Controller with a solid foundation in reporting, analysis and data consolidation, who is eager to apply these skills in a sustainability context and continue to grow professionally. Confidence in working with complex data, combined with curiosity and a willingness to question, learn and adapt, is essential.

A structured and analytical mindset is important, together with the ability to translate reporting and regulatory requirements into practical, workable processes and to collaborate effectively across a global organisation. Comfort in an evolving role and an interest in sustainability are key, as is the ambition to build deep expertise in frameworks and regulations such as CSRD, CSDDD, SBTi, EUDR and CBAM.

Fluency in both written and spoken English is required.

What we offer

Nederman offers a responsible role within an international group with strong local presence. Sustainability reporting at Nederman is well established, yet continuously developing in response to new regulatory requirements, providing a strong learning platform for a Business Controller who wants to deepen sustainability expertise in a structured, pragmatic and internationally oriented organisation.

You will be part of a collaborative Group Finance team, working in an open and supportive environment. The workplace is located in modern, bright offices close to both colleagues and daily operations. The role includes holiday and reduced working hours in line with the applicable collective agreement, access to a company canteen, and on-site gym facilities.
